On the morning of my inceptive blog post, I am also on the Eve of a new chapter of my life.

Tomorrow morning, I am heading to my new office, to pick-up company-owned equipment in order to begin training for my first AM (After Momdom) job on Monday.  I should note that I have spent the last two weeks new-clothes (shoes, bags, hair color) shopping, so I suppose today isn’t the Eve, but my very favorite days are the Eves of celebrations, so I deem it appropriate in this case.

So, while my past story will come out in dribs and drabs, if needed, I am more interested in my present.  And in my present, I am a mom and a partner.  I volunteer my time in my community.  I am addicted to Etsy, Pinterest, and all things Mom Couponing–though I am not an Ace at that just yet.  I finally took my Praxis test and one day, I hope to adopt.  I have gained a few pounds this year, and am determined to get myself back in shape.  I love tattoos, and listening to spiritual music on XM.  I live in a male-dominated home, with my female cat–who despises me.

And…I am going back to work.  I have always been a “get ‘er done” kind of girl, but as I wrote it out in proper English, of sorts, as my Blog title, I realized that what I really want is more along the lines of “together done”…a matter of spacing, and grammar, but it says it all for me.  I have come to rely on quality books, creative websites, iPhone reminders, Snuggle Mondays, Take-Out Tuesdays, and Wine Down Wednesdays, on the support of my extended family, and on the loving blended, if not chaotic, family my partner and I have created.

I hope to share my present moments in this way, so together, we can get ‘er done.  xoxox
